A testimony from Sande Eric Mukyakwire, a businessman
I am a businessman specializing in hardware enterprise in Rubaare town, Ntungamo district. I thank the founders, Board and management of KYAPS for extending their good financial services to us by starting this Rubare branch that has helped many people to improve and expand their businesses.
KYAPS started its operations in Rubaare in Ntungamo district on 3rd May, 2021. Sensitization of people on financial savings was top on the agenda. The branch has so far built a strength of over 2500 members. The branch serves the areas of, Rubaare, Ntungamo Municipality, Rwentobo, Nyarushanje, Kashenyi, Kabale, Rwashamire among others.
Many people have benefited from KYAPS including myself because this SACCO has a variety of development loans which have improved lives. For example many youth have got BODA- BODA loans from KYAPS that is now giving them employments.
KYAPS’s support interms of extending to us credit has made my business of hardware to thrive. After boosting my stock, I went ahead and acquired a loan which I used to purchase a lorry which is now helping me a lot in transporting materials for business. I also have a cattle farm which extensively operates on the support I get from this SACCO.
We are proud that KYAPS services which are affordable to many of us both in business and cattle rearing. They are given at lowest rates and favorable conditions. It’s a matter of providing reliable guarantors and an account with them.
As people of Rubaare, we shall continuously support KYAPS to greatly develop into a commercial bank with more services. I urge everyone to come and join this SACCO to be part of the developing team.
